It Takes a Community to Raise a Business.
i24 supports many of our community organizations. Yes, it’s good for business, but it’s simply what a good neighbour does.
Whether it’s donating resources to an organization that supports homeless youth or it’s hanging art in a seniors residence, we live in shared spaces.
We no longer work, hidden behind walls that are surrounded by moats. Social Media has transformed walls into windows.
Our neighbours can now easily see if the “Emperor is indeed wearing clothes”
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant,”
– Robert Lewis Stevenson
Here are a few of our community organizations we are proud to partner with.
Founded in 1962, NCC has helped to conserve 14 million hectares (35 million acres) of ecologically significant land from coast to coast.
Earth is the only home we have. We need to protect and nurture it. Click here to donate.
Art as therapy – The Art for Healing Foundation
The Art for Healing Foundation brings the healing power of art to hospitals and wellness facilities. It transforms public and patient areas into inspiring environments that encourage serenity and hope for patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
Since 2002, the Foundation has installed over 12,000 works of art in 83 healthcare institutions in Quebec, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Paris, France. Click here to donate.
Animals, Part of Our Community – The Montreal SPCA
“The greatness of a society and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals.” -Mahatma Gandhi
The Montreal SPCA’s mission is to:
– protect animals against negligence, abuse, and exploitation;
– represent their interests and ensure their well-being;
– raise public awareness and help develop compassion for all living beings.
Everyone Deserves a Home – Dans La Rue
“My heart is full of hope for these youth. I know very well that there are limits to what I can do. I can’t save them all. But when I think of Lise, Johnny, Daniel, Molly and so many others, I realise that after every dark and difficult night – even the worst ones – there is a new day and a morning filled with hope.” – Father Emmett Johns
Society wastes precious resources trying to fix problems it has created rather than spending those resources on ways to prevent them. Click here to donate
Chimpanzees in Canada, You Say? – The Fauna Foundation
The Fauna Foundation is located just east of Montréal. Its mission is to create a protected environment for neglected, abused farm and domestic animals and former biomedical research chimpanzees.
“We aim, through education, to foster a better understanding of all animals while exploring our ethical responsibility as humans for the well being of all earth’s creatures.”
A business is made of people who care about their community. Whatever the cause, chose whose mission resonates with you and enlist the help of your team to support them. “A rising tide raises all boats.” – JFK
