December is the month when the Nobel Prize is awarded – a great holiday gift idea for those who have everything.

It’s also the month when we celebrate World Aids Day, National Chocolate Day and Poinsettia Day.

December also marked the invention of bowling; the very first heart transplant; the Wright brothers first flight; and, we celebrate the Winter Solstice on or near December 21st, an original Pagan tradition.

Speaking of holiday traditions, did you know that XMAS pudding is made with 13 ingredients to represent Jesus and the 12 disciples?

And last but not least December is the month when the most money is withdrawn from ATM machines – also called holiday green … whereas the red comes in January with the arrival of the credit card bills!
