Inspirational quotes are popular because we see reflected in the wise words of great minds validation of who we feel we are and motivation for whom we want to become.
Each month Gary Blair, President and owner of i24 Call Management Solutions publishes a newsletter containing his favourite quotes – his ‘gems’.
Quotes and Trivia for February-Garys Monthly Gems
Welcome to February – one of the regularly most misspelt words in the English language … do I hear Groundhog Day!
Did you know …
- Much Ado About Nothing was the only Shakespeare play that mentions February.
- It’s the only month that can pass without a full moon – and it’s scheduled to happen again in 2018!
- February ends on the same day as October, every year.
- A person born on February 29th is referred to as a Leapling or a Leaper.
- It’s my birthday … February 14th to be exact!
A very happy birthday to all my fellow Aquarians and Pisceans – enjoy your day, and to everyone, enjoy the month!

And the thought I’d like to leave you with this month is:
Inspired by Valentine’s Day …
“If you live to be a hundred,
I want to live to be a hundred minus one day,
so I never have to live without you.”
– Winnie the Pooh
Thank you, Gary. As always, a wonderful way to begin the month……xoxoxNanci
Hi Nanci … glad to hear it. Happy February-ing 🙂
Thanks. Gary. A nice way to keep connected. Freda
Hi Freda, It is indeed. Thank you for your very kind condolences by the way. May I offer mine in return. You and Ernie have lost both Miriam and now Syd, lifelong friends, in such a short period of time. These kinds of friendships are a precious connection to the past and so it is always an extra sad day when it happens. Enjoy your time in the south and we will catch up at the unveiling if not beforehand. Big hugs xo
Wonderful as always my brother! xo
Glad to hear it Sista … 🙂 xo
I always enjoy these newsletters. They make me both smile and inspire
Glad to hear it Lisa! Cheers and happy February-ing!
Inspirational gems for sure,
Many thanks Mr.Gary
you are great again.
Shuja Bashir
Hi Shuja, You’re most welcome! Glad to know you enjoyed! Happy February-ing!
I am akin with Winnie the Pooh! The most amazing lady I ever knew, Mary Lois, was born on Valentines Day.
My mother was a true southern woman. She was gentile and strong willed. She had 6 children but we always
had children in need in our home.
Sadly she passed at an early age of 75 in 2000. She will always be My Valentine!
This month is also special for my husband and I , we will celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary on the 4th of
February .
Stay warm,
Carolyn
Hi Carolyn,
What a beautiful story about your mom and what were the chances we were fellow Valentines! Want to hear a really good one, even beyond that. I was also married on Valentine’s Day, and, my husband is also born on Valentine’s Day, as were his parents, who were married for 62 years! Now if that isn’t synchronicity, I don’t know what is!
Have yourself a wonderful February and a beautiful Valentine’s Day!
Cheers
You two Happy Sweethearts!
Carolyn
